The L81 Series low-frequency panel reader/writer is a panel-type electronic ear tag reader based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. It is also known as an electronic ear tag reader or scanner. It features a split-design architecture, with separate controller and antenna units, offering flexible and convenient application.

It employs passive RFID technology supporting both low-frequency Half-Duplex (HDX) and Full-Duplex (FDX-B) formats. This reader complies with the ISO 11784/5 international standard protocol, operates at 134.2KHz, and offers strong penetration and high stability. It enables long-distance reading of all electronic ear tags from brands like DeLaval and Allflex, as well as domestic low-frequency electronic ear tags.

A key feature of this reader is its built-in 32-step auto-tuning circuit with an automatic tuning function upon power restoration. This simplifies the initial installation process and ensures continuous operation by automatically optimizing the read distance under various conditions. The auto-adjustment function allows for easy installation and maintains optimal performance in changing environments. The reader is equipped with a synchronization function, ensuring stable and interference-free operation even when multiple readers are used in close proximity. It is characterized by high receiving sensitivity, stable performance, and strong reliability. It supports the standard modbus RTU industrial bus protocol, facilitating networked communication, with a configurable baud rate of up to 115200 bps to meet requirements for high-speed, long-distance data transmission.
